Since 2014, I have proudly called Missoula, Montana, my home, bringing my knowledge and expertise to this vibrant community. As the founder of Niitsitapii, I am honored to share and celebrate Blackfoot heritage with the world.
I am a proud member of the Blood Tribe (Alberta, Canada) and the Blackfeet Tribe (Montana, United States), and I am 100% Blackfoot. My journey has been guided by the teachings of elders who have entrusted me with knowledge and authority rooted in our traditions.
Throughout my career, I have worked in various fields, but the most rewarding experiences have been teaching Blackfoot Cultural Heritage and Environmental Education. My work at Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park/Áísínaiʼpi National Historic Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as an Interpretive Specialist from 2007 to 2014, remains a significant highlight of my life.
Through Niitsitapii, I am excited to continue sharing the richness of our culture with communities near and far.
